Taken from the Ferris Wheel at the fair this summer.
Oooh. This is nice.
Okay, now I'm going to say a lot of nice stuff about this, and you're going to say, "But it's not like I planned it; that's just how it was." But it's good anyway, so hush.
Anyway, the diagonals of the ferris wheel on the left there really give the picture a good dynamism, and the arch to the right helps balance the frame nicely. The horizon is pushed down enough to keep the picture from being really dark, and the bright orange sun is not in the center, though being the focus, and that also makes it more dynamic.
I also love how the twilight makes the power lines on the horizon all grey and hazy.
Good job, Ri!
Yay! I hoped, taking a dozen pictures, that I got a good one! At least, I thought this was the best of them. <3 Thank you. Even if I don't plan that stuff, knowing it helps me plan for better pictures next time. :3 *Hugglies* I adore your feedback on photography.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
